New Quark XTensions!
Precursor BBS has added over twenty new XTensions for QuarkXPress. Some of the XTensions are Freeware while others are shareware or demos of commercial software. Ambrosia Software To Becomes BBS Vendor!
Precursor is pleased to announce that Ambrosia Software of New York has agreed to distribute the latest versions of its fine catalogue of software in the Precursor BBS Vendors area. Ambrosia markets software designed by well known Macintosh programming wizard and prolific software author Andrew Welch. The Ambrosia conference should be on-line in August.

StuffIt 3.5 Redux!
Aladdin Systems posted an urgent e-mail this week to those who downloaded the release version of StuffIt Expander and DropStuff 3.5. It seems when they built the release version they forgot to remove the beta versions expiry date of August 16. A new 3.51 version of each utility will be posted soon with the appropriate corrections. [Precursor Systems is now part of AladdinÕs on-line distribution program and will be receiving all the latest versions of the StuffIt line of shareware products].

In other compression utility news: Bill GoodmanÕs company, Cyclos, has released Compact Pro 1.5 for both 68K and PPC Macs; and, Symantec has released DiskDoubler Pro 1.0 Updater which updates all copies of DiskDoubler, AutoDoubler and SuperDoubler to the latest versions.
